Week 13 – Looking ahead to the Scale-up Workshop

Week 13

Looking Ahead to the Scale-Up Workshop

The Scale-up Workshop is the final “finish line” event where the Team transitions from a temporary sprint to a long-term legacy.

The Workshop is an opportunity for the Team to showcase its achievements, share what it learned, and offer its thoughts and recommendations on the way forward – sustaining and scaling the impact. The audience for these messages includes many of the leadership stakeholders you consulted with before the Start-Up Workshop, as well as others whose buy-in — and possibly involvement — will be critical to sustaining and scaling the impact.

Your Task This Week

3-Way Strategic Briefing

Meet with the Coach and the Team Leader to ensure there is alignment on the way forward.

  • Sustainability Check: Review the Team’s initial thoughts on “Sustaining the Gains” and “Mapping the Way Forward” and share your perspective.

  • Stakeholder Mapping: Review the invitee list to see if any leaders need to be added.. Decide if additional leadership stakeholders need a pre-workshop briefing to ensure they arrive ready to make commitments.

  • Leadership Roles: Confirm which sessions you will lead during the Workshop. These are typically the “Sustaining the Gains” or “Mapping the Way Forward” segments, where your authority is most impactful.
