Module 6 Overview

Module 6: From Sprint to Marathon

We are in the Final Phase of the 100-Day Challenge. To ensure the final weeks of the 100-Day Sprint deliver a lasting impact, you and the Coaches must pivot from “sprinting” to “system-building”. This module focuses on the critical weeks — from Week 12 to Week 15 — where the Coach will guide the Team through the transition from a high-intensity pilot to a sustainable, institutionalised practice.  You will start preparing to take the baton back at the Scale-up Worskhop.

The Big Picture

The 100-Day Challenge is coming to a close, but the work is far from over. As you enter the final month, the focus shifts to data, storytelling, and institutionalising the “New Normal.” The team has likely achieved significant breakthroughs, but these must be articulated clearly to secure future support. Over the next four weeks, you will secure the “Political Will” for Day 101 and take back the baton to shape the Scale-up and Sustainability path.

The Roadmap

Week 12: Preparing the Narrative and the Team

Focus: Synthesising results into a compelling story of change. As the team enters the final month, their focus shifts to data and storytelling.

What the Coach will do: Help the team move beyond raw data to describe how survivors’ lives have changed. Review the 100-day journey to identify critical bottlenecks and effective “workarounds”, ensuring the team feels confident in their results as the architects of a new way of working.

Key Outcome: A confident team ready to present a data-backed narrative of impact.

Week 13: Looking ahead to the Scale-up Workshop

Focus: Securing the “Political Will” for Day 101. The Scale-up Workshop is not a graduation ceremony; it is a strategic business meeting. This week is dedicated to the logistics of influence.

What the Coach will do: Help the team define what “scale-up” means for their specific focus area and finalise the venue and materials to reflect the professional gravity of the occasion.

What you will do: Work with the Coach to ensure the right decision-makers are in the room.

Key Outcome: Invitations sent and the scale-up logic clearly defined.

Week 14: Getting Ready for the Scale-up Workshop

Focus: Institutionalising the “New Normal.” This is the climax of the 100-day journey, bridging the gap between the Team’s innovation and the leaders’ authority.

What you will do: Facilitate a session focused on Sustainability. Provide a platform for the Team to present their evidence and for leadership to formally adopt successful innovations, while keeping the focus on hard commitments.

Key Outcome: A signed Sustainability Plan, clear ownership of new protocols, and leadership buy-in.

Week 15: Getting Ready for the Marathon

Focus: Taking back the baton to the permanent system. The “Sprint” is over, but the “Marathon” of long-term change begins now. Week 15 focuses on the transition to Day 101 reality.

What you will do: With the Coach, facilitate the formal transfer of responsibility and reflection on your own growth.

Key Outcome: Formal handover of responsibilities and a blueprint for system institutionalisation.

Your Action Checklist

Secure Stakeholder Attendance: Confirm key decision-makers and leaders for the Scale-up Workshop.

Facilitate sections of the Workshop: Successfully bridge the gap between the Team’s innovations and leadership’s authority to secure a signed Sustainability Plan.

Complete the Handover: Ensure all new practices, protocols, and resources are formally transferred to the permanent system.

What's Next?

Once the Scale-Up Workshop is complete and the leadership commitments are secured, the sprint formally transitions into the marathon of long-term change.
