Prepare for the Start-up Workshop
This week, you will be making final preparations for the Start-up Workshop, the most important part of the 30 Day Project experience, which sets the tone for the project.
A successful Start-Up Workshop accounts for at least 50% of the overall success of the 30-Day Project. With your help, the group of people invited to participate will become a high-performing team by the end of the Workshop.
Your Mission This Week
Leftover Work & Facilitation Refresher
Finish any outstanding work from the previous week, including recruiting the team, finalising the Project Charter and sharing it with the team and ensuring the venue is booked.
Last week, you reviewed the Facilitation note Deep Dives for the Workshop. Refresh you mind and prepare the templates you will require. If you have questions, please post them on the WhatsApp group, or join the Guru Hour call at the end of the week. If you have not downloaded the Slide Pack and Facilitation guide yet – please do so now.
Final Preparations
Prepare and/or download Workshop templates and other documents, and go over the venue’s logistics. For detailed guidance, see the Learning Deep Dive: Final Preparations for the Start-Up Workshop.
Preparing for Next Week (Week 1)
Next week you will conduct the Start-up Workshop. Day one of the 30 day project will start right after the Workshop. So apart from facilitating the Workshop, you will need to be ready to support the team next week.
The team will wake up from the excitement of the Start-up Workshop and start scrambling to figure out how they will move into action. It is a critical week. The team, especially the Team Leader, will require some additional support.
