What if the team has fallen short of their goal and the performance did not budge much from the pre-100-Day level?

Encourage the team to be honest and transparent in stating the facts. And not to be defensive about the lack of progress. Remind them that moving the needle on performance is one of three indicators of success. And that failure is when the team gives up along the way. So the team can focus their presentation on the various things they did not try to move the needle and what they learned as these were implemented without producing the desired impact. These can be tremendously valuable insights from a strategic perspective.
