Question 1 of 1
1. Question
Hint
Here a few options to keep things moving forward:
- Probe whether there a space where these focus areas overlap, and suggest this as the space for the 100-Day Challenge
- Agree to have several teams at once, each with a different focus
- If there is no bandwidth to do several teams at once, do a “sequencing commitment”: we’ll start with this focus area, then the next, etc.
- Leave it to the team to decide, and make sure there is as broad a representation on the team as possible. This is ‘kicking the can forward’ and will present an extra burden on the team. But it is a workable option, especially if the disagreement on focus areas at the leadership level has more to do with egos than substance and impact. If you land on this option, it would be useful to build more time for the goal setting session at the Lift-off workshop.
