Guidance for Coaches Supporting 30-Day Challenges
The purpose of this guide is to prepare you to support a rapid (30-day) project team that aims to improve the way your organisation performs when it comes to the issue of Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF). We refer to this project as the “GBVF Maturity 30-Day GBVF Challenge.” It is modeled after the 100-Day Challenge approach, just simpler and even faster!
The Course is organised into weekly lessons designed to help you, on a just-in-time basis, supporting the team working on the 30-Day Challenge.
The first week is an all-learning week, and there is no practical “supporting of the team”. The last week is all practical work, no online learning.
From the second week, the aim is that you dedicate some time on Monday to Wednesday to supporting the team (e.g., facilitating workshops.
Thursday and Friday, you allocate a bit of time to learning something that will help you support the team in the coming week.
Every Friday morning there will be an Office hour Zoom call. One of the Experienced 100-Day Challenge coaches will host the call. Join in, especially if you have questions about the week’s lesson, to be better prepared to support the team in the coming week.
